GoodData.UI Version 6.1 Available: Secondary Axis

We have released Version 6.1 of GoodData.UI, our powerful library for building analytical applications powered by GoodData.

New in this version: A secondary axis in line charts, bar charts, and column charts
In line charts, bar charts, and column charts, you can now show measures on a secondary axis. The secondary axis can have a different scale and configuration than the primary axis. For more information, see Chart Config.

Table Reports: Adjust and Preserve Column Width per Measure Across Attribute Values

When resizing columns in a table report, you can now adjust and preserve the column width for any columns with the same measure that may be added to the report in the future.

For example, you have a column with a product sliced down by multiple measures (price, number of sold items, and so on). In the beginning, you may have just a few products, but with time you add more. If you preserve the column width while resizing, then whenever another product is added to the report, the columns with the measures are automatically resized to the width that you have set before.

Data Warehouse Upgrade to Vertica 9.1.1 Completed

We have completed upgrading the Vertica software on our Data Warehouse. It now runs on Vertica Version 9.1.1. You can find detailed information about Version 9.1.1 in Vertica's online documentation. We have updated the user documentation for our Data Warehouse accordingly.

NOTE: COPY FROM S3 is still out of order. We are currently working on making it operational again. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will post a separate announcement when COPY FROM S3 is back in order.

REMINDER: Deprecation and Upcoming End-of-life: Project Templates

The project templates are deprecated and will stop working on May 15, 2019.

How will this affect you?
If you are using the project templates, they will stop working on May 15, 2019. Any request to the GoodData platform that includes a project template will fail.

How can you get prepared?
Check whether you are using the project templates. If you are using them, start using Life Cycle Management (LCM) instead as soon as possible. LCM allows you to configure and control multiple workspaces through master workspaces.

ACTION REQUIRED!
Make sure that you either adopt LCM or update your solution to run without the project templates before the end-of-life, May 15, 2019.

For more information about LCM, see Managing Projects via Life Cycle Management or contact your Account Manager. For more information about the project template deprecation, see Project Templates.
