We have released Version 5.2 of GoodData.UI, our powerful library for building analytical applications powered by GoodData.
What's new in GoodData.UI Version 5.2?
- Bubble chart component
Bubble chart shows data as bubbles using Cartesian coordinates. Bubble charts typically have three measures, one for the X-axis, one for the Y-axis, and one that determines the size of each bubble. Bubble charts are useful for discovering trends between two measures. For more information, see Bubble Chart.
- Treemap component
Treemap charts presents your data hierarchically as nested rectangles. Treemaps are useful for comparing proportions within the hierarchy. For more information, see Treemap.
- Time over time comparison
Time over time comparison allows you to add a measure representing data from the past and compare it to another measure in a visualization. You can compare data to the same period previous year or to the previous period. For more information, see Time over Time Comparison. - Second measure in headline component
You can now add a second measure to a visualization created with the Headline component. This enables you to compare the two measures and display the percentage difference between them. For more information, see Headline.
Headlines in Analytical Designer Improved
You can now add a second measure to the Headline insights in Analytical Designer. This enables you to compare the two measures and display the percentage difference between them.

Time Over Time Comparison in Analytical Designer
In Analytical Designer, you can now compare all data to the same period of the previous year with a single setting. You enable the comparison in the global date filter and select to which measures you want to apply it. This will also add new items to the Measures section and you can reorder them according to your needs.

SAML SSO Support for SHA-2
GoodData SAML SSO now only supports SHA2 or higher digital signature algorithms and digest algorithms as part of the assertion.
