Sat, March 23rd 2024: Scheduled Upgrade of Agile Data Warehousing Service Announcement, US-1, US-2, EU-1 and EU-2 DCs only

Upgrade of Agile Data Warehousing Service to the new version will start on Saturday March 23rd, 2024 at 2:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (other time zones).

 

The upgrade is planned for the US-1 United States, Chicago, US-2 United States, Dallas, EU-1 United Kingdom, London and the EU-2 European Union (EU), Frankfurt (Germany) datacenters and will affect only subgroup of ADS instances. Platform will be available during this time, but it is possible that you will encounter intermittent failures of ADS services and processes using the specific ADS instances while the upgrade is in progress.  Other datacenters will run without any impact or limitation.

What will it bring?

  • Upgrade ADS database version, fixes for vulnerabilities and general bug fixes.   

 

How will it affect you?


02:00 AM - 04:00 AM PDT : The GoodData Platform and all applications will be available, but the ADS services and processes using ADS instances could fail during the maintenance in the US-1 United States, Chicago, US-2 United States, Dallas, EU-1 United Kingdom, London and the EU-2 European Union (EU), Frankfurt (Germany) datacenters. The upgrade will affect only subgroup of ADS instances. Tasks that are scheduled to run during that time will be pending and will resume after the maintenance is finished.

Other datacenters will run without any impact or limitation.

 

No action required!

 

Please restart your ETL process after the maintenance in case you will notice a failure and your ETL does not have an automatic retry set or it is not scheduled frequently.

There is no other action required from you.
