Fact Table Grain via LDM Modeler
The Fact Table Grain functionality is now available in the CloudConnect LDM Modeler!
In relation to this, the concept of Connection Point and the process of its creation in the LDM Modeler has been revised. A Connection Point is now set in the same dialog where the fact table grain is set.
To start using Fact Table Grain via the LDM Modeler, upgrade your CloudConnect to the latest version available at the GoodData Developer portal.
Of course, you can still use Fact Table Grain via API and MAQL DDL scripting.
Note: Please be aware that we are currently working hard on updating our online help to reflect all the changes. The revised version of the help will be available soon!
Life Cycle Management (LCM) Bricks
If you are using the Life Cycle Management (LCM) feature, you can now perform particular tasks by yourself, using so-called bricks from the GoodData Appstore. For example, you can create clients and their workspaces under the appropriate segments, add or remove users, or update users' information.
LCM is a GoodData feature that allows you to configure and control multiple workspaces through master workspaces.
LCM as a feature is enabled for you by GoodData specialists. If you have any question, please contact GoodData Support.

Improved Data Warehouse Capabilities
A Data Warehouse user can now view and manage other users' objects and entities:
- Execute a TRUNCATE command for any table in a Data Warehouse instance, and DROP and ALTER commands for any table, view, function or sequence in the instance
- View all the data related to the processes running in the instance (for example, opened sessions, running queries, and so on)
- Kill any session opened in the instance
- Kill any query running in the instance
New API Function - IpWhitelist
A new API function has been added to the GoodData platform. IpWhitelist allows you to create IP whitelists for access to your organization. Note that this API function can only be implemented by domain administrators.

Reminder: Upcoming Change of SST Length
To enhance platform security, we are planning to increase the length of SuperSecured Token (SST) that you obtain and use when logging in to the GoodData platform via API.
How will this affect you?
Make sure that you parse the whole value of SST (without considering how long it is).
Always take the whole SST value from the header of the API call response, or from the cookies string.
When this change happens, we will post a separate announcement.
