Release 72 Notes: Saturday, May 26, 2012

What's New in Release 72?

In this release, we've made some major enhancements to our Algebraic Engine for a significant increase in analytical power. In addition, we are still in the process of migrating to a faster and more robust database and also beefing up our infrastructure in order to support much larger data uploads. That said, while we are maintaining our focus primarily on performance in this release, we are also bringing you an important feature which we hope will come in handy:

Sorting by Totals

Now, it's  possible to sort tabular reports by the "Total" column. Below, we have a report which breakdowns the number of support cases by Agent and Case Type for 2011.

First, let's get the total number of cases for each Agent. To do this, simply right click within the Year (Created) field and select Sum of All Columns.

Now that we have the total number of cases by Agent, we can sort the table according to the total by clicking on the sorting arrow in the Sum header.

Enjoy Release 72 and please stay tuned because there is more to come!
