We're currently observing issues with computations and increased 500 errors in data centers IAD1 and IAD2.
These issues appear to be related to ongoing AWS outages in the us-east-1 region, which are impacting multiple services across our platform and the internet.

The issue appears to be caused by an outage at our infrastructure provider (AWS) in the us-east-1 region.
It's affecting some AWS services like AWS Security Token Service (STS), which impacts how systems communicate internally, resulting in computation issues in IAD1 and IAD2. We're monitoring and will share updates as AWS resolves the issue.

AWS applied initial mitigations and we are observing gradual recovery of report and dashboard computation in our affected data centers (IAD1 and IAD2). During this time, requests may continue to fail as they work toward full resolution. We recommend customers to retry the failing requests.
Service performance is stabilizing, though some report and dashboard computations may still experience occasional delays while systems fully recover. Our teams continue to closely monitor the situation to ensure all services return to normal. We'll provide another update once the issue is fully resolved.

We’re seeing significant improvement in report and dashboard computation across the affected data centers (IAD1 and IAD2), with most services now fully recovered.
However, Amazon AWS is still working on a complete resolution of the underlying issue. Our teams continue to closely monitor the situation and will provide an update if there are any changes.

From our (GoodData's) perspective, all services are now stable, and visualization and dashboard computations are working as expected.
